FAQs
When should I use each pick list grouping option?
By items
Use this when you want to bulk pick similar items across multiple orders. This is the most efficient option for high-volume picking.By orders
Use this when picking and packing one order at a time. Each order’s items are grouped together.By items and by orders
Use this for a hybrid workflow where you bulk pick items but still need order-level visibility (e.g., when orders are split into multiple shipments).
Why does my pick list look different than expected?
Pick list layout depends on your grouping selection:
“By items” will combine quantities across orders
“By orders” will separate items by order number
“By items and by orders” may include additional details like shipment splits
If the format looks incorrect, check your grouping settings when creating the pick list or in Settings → Printing → Pick lists.
I don’t see the “Pick list” option—what should I do?
Make sure you're on a Pro or Premier plan
Confirm you’re on the Orders page
Select at least one order using the checkbox
If no orders are selected, the Pick list option will not appear.
Why are some item details missing (like SKUs)?
Item details depend on your configuration and store data:
Enable options like Show SKUs in your pick list settings
How do I change my default pick list settings?
Go to:
Settings → Printing → Pick lists
From there, you can:
Set your default grouping
Customize item details
Choose whether to show the configuration step each time
Why am I asked to configure the pick list every time?
This depends on your “Show configuration every time” setting:
On → You’ll review settings each time you create a pick list
Off → Your saved defaults will be applied automatically
You can update this in Settings → Printing → Pick lists.
Is there a limit to how many orders I can include in a pick list?
Yes. Pick lists can include up to 1,000 total items or 100 orders.
