Tracking emails keep your customers in the loop on where their order is and when it'll arrive. Set them up once, and Shippo sends them automatically every time you ship.
On the Pro plan, you can also brand your tracking emails and pages with your logo and colors, add a reply-to address and return policy, and recommend products to customers while their order is on the way.
Access your tracking settings
- Click the Settings icon.
- Select the Tracking tab in the left navigation panel.
Turn on automatic email notifications
"Your order is shipping"
- From the Emails tab, open Your Order is Shipping.
- Turn on Enable Email Notification.
- Enter your custom message text.
- Choose the delay before the email sends.
- Click Save.
"Your order has arrived"
- From the Emails tab, open Your Order has Arrived.
- Turn on Enable Email Notification.
- Enter your custom message text.
- Choose the delay before the email sends.
- Click Save.
| Note: Custom message text isn't available on the Starter plan. Upgrade to Pro or Premier to add it. |
Customize your tracking emails (Pro plan)
Without Pro, automatic tracking emails still send, just without custom branding.
Update your branding and footer
- From the Emails tab, open Brand and Footer Elements to see your current logo and color scheme.
- Click Update Brand Elements.
- Enter a reply-to email, upload your logo, choose your primary and background colors, and select a footer (for example, a link to your return policy).
- Click Save.

Add a custom message
In Your order is shipping or Your order has arrived, open Email Content, enter your message, and click Save.
Customize your tracking page
Your tracking page gives customers more detail on their shipment, plus any promotions or product recommendations you've added.
Access your tracking page
- Open the Settings tab.
- Click the Tracking tab in the left navigation panel.
- Click the Tracking Page tab.
Add product recommendations
Encourage repeat purchases by featuring your products on the tracking page.
- Enter a section title.
- Upload an image.
- Enter the product link.
Add promotions
Point customers to upcoming sales or events.
- Upload an image.
- Enter the promotion link.
- Click Save.
Preview your tracking page
Click the Mobile or Desktop icon in the top right to preview how your page looks, then click View Test Link to see it live.
