This guide walks you through integrating Shippo with Fulfil to streamline your shipping operations.
The integration connects Fulfil's order management platform with the Shippo multi-carrier shipping platform. Once it's set up, you can compare rates, generate labels, and track shipments without leaving Fulfil.
Before starting the integration, make sure you have:
- An active Fulfil account with shipping permissions
- An active Shippo account with API key (you can create one during setup)
- Administrator access to Settings → Integrations in Fulfil

Integrate Shippo with Fulfil
- Log in to your Fulfil account, then go to Settings → Integrations and create an integration record for Shippo. Select Shippo from the list of available integrations.
- You'll be redirected to Shippo's login page to approve access for Fulfil.
- If you're not logged in to your Shippo account, you'll be prompted to create an account or log in.
- Click "Log in" and you'll be redirected to a screen where you can log in to your Shippo account.
- Once you've logged in (or if you were already logged in), you'll be asked to approve access to Fulfil for your Shippo account. Click Allow Access to authorize Fulfil to connect with your Shippo account.
- After authorization, you'll be returned to Fulfil, where the integration status will show as connected.
Connect Carriers in Shippo
Before configuring carriers in Fulfil, make sure they're active in your Shippo account.
- Log in to your Shippo account.
- Go to Settings → Carriers.
- Configure your own carrier accounts, or choose to use Shippo's negotiated rates (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, and more).
- The following carriers are available in Fulfil through your Shippo integration: APC Postal, Asendia US, Australia Post, Canada Post, DHL Ecommerce, DHL Express, DPD UK, e-Post Global, FedEx, GLS France, GLS Germany, GLS US, Lasership, Mondial Relay, Newgistics, OnTrac, Parcelforce, Purolator, UPS, and USPS.
- Select the carriers you want to ship from your Shippo account by making sure each carrier is set to Active.
Configure Carriers in Fulfil
- Return to your Shippo integration page in Fulfil.
- Click Configure to set up carrier connections.
- Select the carrier you'd like to ship with and activate it. This creates a new shipping carrier in Fulfil.
- For each carrier you select, Fulfil creates a new shipping carrier record.
- Complete the carrier configuration in Fulfil by selecting:
- Shipping services: choose which service levels to offer (Ground, Express, and so on).
- Box types: define packaging options for rate calculations and label generation.
Each activated carrier becomes available in your shipping workflows, so you can compare rates and generate labels directly from Fulfil.

Shipping Insurance
On individual shipments, enter the coverage amount you want in the Insurance Amount field. The insurance cost is added to the shipping label when it's generated through Shippo.

Validate Your Setup
After completing the integration setup, verify everything is working correctly:
- Test carrier connections. Make sure all activated carriers appear in your shipping options.
- Generate a test label. Create a sample shipment to confirm label generation works.
- Check rate comparisons. Verify that rates are displaying from your configured carriers.
- Confirm tracking. Test that tracking information flows back to Fulfil after you create a label.
Billing and Returns
Billing is handled directly in Shippo (Settings → Account → Billing). All billing for Shippo services, including shipping labels and subscription fees, is handled directly by Shippo, not Fulfil.

There's no additional charge from Fulfil to use the Shippo integration. All billing, invoicing, and receipts come directly from Shippo. If you're new to Shippo, you'll be prompted to choose a subscription plan during onboarding.
Access your billing and invoicing in Shippo
- Log in to the Shippo app.
- Go to Settings → Account → Billing.
- Download invoices, update payment methods, and view pending transactions.
Troubleshooting
