Customers on our Pro and Premier plans can invite additional users to their Shippo account. This guide covers how to add and manage users.
Add users
Anyone on a Pro or Premier plan can add additional users with their own logins:
- Pro plans support up to 300 login users.
- Premier plans support 15+ login users.
To add a user:
- Click the Settings icon and select Users from the sidebar.
- Click + Add New User toward the top right of the user management pane and enter their email address.
- Click Send Invite. They'll receive an email invitation to create a password and access their account.

Manage users
Users are managed on the User Settings Page. Invited users show as Pending until they respond to the email invitation.
- Click Resend Invite to remind an invitee.
- Click the trash icon to delete the invitation.
FAQs
What permissions do users have?
Every user has the same set of permissions as the Account Owner. Be sure to train all invitees on how you'd like them to use your Shippo account, to avoid changes that could affect your operations.
Is there a change history?
All users have the same access to make changes to the account, and there's no change history to log who made which changes.
Do my users still have access if I downgrade to Starter?
Starter plans support only one login user. You'll need to remove all additional users before downgrading from a subscription plan to Starter.
Why is my Users page blocking me from adding users?
You may see an error if you've reached the maximum number of users. If so, remove one before inviting another. Starter plans support only one user and won't show the option to add more.
