The Items section on your Shippo Orders page shows the items associated with each order, and those items appear on the packing slips you download from Shippo. This guide covers how to add and delete order items, plus a few important reminders.
Add and delete order items
Get started by creating a new order from the Orders page:
- Click Create Label next to any order on your Shippo Orders page.
- Confirm the sender and recipient addresses are entered correctly.
- Scroll to the Items section of the Order Details page.
Add items
To add a new item:
- Click + Add item.
- Enter the description, quantity, unit weight, unit value, and country of origin. This also feeds the customs declaration for international shipments.
- SKU is optional.
- Click Add.
- Repeat for any additional items.
Remove items
To remove an item:
- Click the order item.
- Click Delete Item.
- Confirm by clicking Delete Item again.
| Note: Items imported from ecommerce stores can't be removed. |
Important reminders
- Orders imported from your store include their items automatically.
- CSV-imported orders have items if they were included in the original CSV file.
- Manual orders created with the Create Label button get their items added when you create the label.
