Export Shipments from Shippo via CSV

Shippers often want the gritty details, numbers, dates, and more, from their past shipments. We've got you covered.

Shippo's export feature lets you pull reports with all your shipment data (order numbers, recipient information, shipping rates, insurance paid, and more). Use it to aggregate information for monthly billing, or to log how many shipments you've created in a chosen date range.

How to export your shipments

  1. Open the Shipments page in Shippo and click Export.
  2. Enter your desired date range.
  3. Click the green Export button.

Your report generates as a CSV file. Use it to calculate shipping spend, or import the recipient information as an address book back into Shippo.

Note: Date ranges max out at 90 days per export.

Excel's scientific notation

Microsoft Excel sometimes reformats tracking numbers into scientific notation (like 9.20559E+25). A quick fix: upload your downloaded CSV file directly to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets instead.

Here's how:

  1. Export the file from Shippo. Don't open it in Excel first.
  2. Open Google Drive.
  3. Click New.
  4. Select File Upload and choose the file from your computer, or drag and drop it into Google Drive.

You should now see the full tracking numbers.
