Export Transactions From Shippo

Just like exporting shipments, you can export your transactions from the Billing page. Our export feature pulls a full report of your transaction data, including transaction type, amount, tracking number, carrier, and carrier service level.

The report includes refunds and the amount we charged for each label. Use it to capture transaction details for monthly billing, or to log the number of shipments you've created over a given period.

Export your transactions

  1. From the Orders page, click the Account Settings icon and select Billing.
  2. Click Transactions under Invoices & Transactions.
  3. Select your dates and apply your filters. These filters apply to the export.
  4. Click Export CSV.

Your report generates as a CSV file, ready to use for calculating shipping costs or logging your tracking numbers.

Note: Exports max out at 10,000 rows. If no date filters are applied, we include your latest 10,000 transactions. Too many transactions in one export can cause a time-out, so narrow your date filter if that happens.

Fix scientific notation in tracking numbers

Microsoft Excel sometimes reformats tracking numbers into scientific notation (like 9.20559E+25). Here's a quick fix: upload your downloaded CSV straight to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets instead.

  1. Export the file from Shippo. Don't open it in Excel first.
  2. Open your Google Drive.
  3. Click New.
  4. Select File Upload and choose the file from your computer, or drag and drop it into your Google Drive.

This should preserve your full tracking numbers.
