Many different printers work with Shippo. You can use a standard inkjet printer, which prints on 8.5x11 inch pages, or a thermal label printer (like the Dymo 4XL), which prints on 4x6 inch adhesive paper.
If you ship a significant volume regularly, we recommend investing in a thermal label printer, since it speeds up your shipping process considerably.
The standard label format for inkjet printers is a horizontal letter (PDF) on 8.5x11 inch paper, which fits a maximum of two labels per page, each taking up half a page.
Labels printed on a thermal label printer are usually in a vertical 4x6 inch format.
Changing your label settings
To change your label settings, open the Settings tab and click Labels and Packing Slips.
From the Labels and Packing Slips settings page, you can set your printing, sizing, and service-level templates:

We recommend testing these sizes and seeing actual labels using test mode for your specific carrier.
