Connecting your Walmart store to Shippo allows you to import orders, purchase labels, and send tracking numbers back to Walmart. In this article, learn how to connect your Walmart store to Shippo.


How to Connect from your Walmart Account

  • From your Walmart Seller Center home page, click Apps.
  • Search for Shippo in the search bar.
  • Click the Connect button on the Shippo app tile.
  • Sign in to Shippo:
    • If you’re new to Shippo, enter your details and click the Try Shippo For Free button to create a new account.
    • If you already have a Shippo account, click the login link.
  • Continue from Authorize with Walmart below.

Connect from your existing Shippo account

To connect to your Walmart store:

  • Click on the Settings icon
  • Visit the Stores tab
  • Click on Walmart
  • On the Connect store page, click the Continue button
  • Continue from Authorize with Walmart below

If you already have a store connected:

  • Click on the Settings icon
  • Visit the Stores tab
  • Click the Connect store button
  • From the sidebar, click on Walmart
  • On the Connect store page, click the Continue button

You’ll be taken to the Walmart Seller Center. After logging in, you'll land on the permission page.

You must grant Shippo permission to connect with your store. This allows Shippo to import orders, update order status, and upload tracking information.

To grant permission, click Authorize.

If the store connects successfully to Shippo, you'll be redirected to the Orders page – orders will immediately begin importing.

What happens after I connect my Walmart Marketplace account to Shippo?

After you connect, your Walmart orders will automatically import to the Shippo Orders Page. 

 

Will I be able to see the specific order details like item information?

The orders on the Shippo Orders Page will include all order information such as the order number, items in the order, quantity, cost of items, and the cost of shipping your buyers selected. You can reference those details while you create the shipping label in Shippo.

 

How do I give the tracking number to my customer?

When you create a shipping label in Shippo using a Walmart order, the order status will be automatically updated in your Walmart Marketplace account along with the tracking information. This update will trigger Walmart to send a Walmart email notification to your customers. 

 

Can I connect more than one Walmart store to Shippo?

Yes! You can connect multiple Walmart Marketplace accounts to Shippo. For instance, if you have multiple storefronts on Walmart, you can connect them to the same Shippo account. It's important to note that you can also set nicknames for each store to easily identify each Walmart Marketplace.
