An email address and phone number are required as part of the recipient’s address for international shipments with the exception of FedEx. FedEx requires a recipient phone number for all shipments, both domestic and international.
If you don't have your customer's email address or phone number we recommend using your own. These contact methods will only be used in the case of a problem with the shipment and the carrier needs to contact someone. With international shipments, the customs agents sometimes need to verify information and require a point of contact.
